We are delighted to announce that we are now recognised as a digital school of distinction. The Digital Schools of Distinction programme is part of the Irish Government’s Digital Strategy for Schools 2015 – 2020 and is a nationally recognized digital schools award for primary schools in Ireland. This involved evaluating where we were in relation to ICT in the school and putting a plan in place to incorporate and integrate digital learning into the curriculum to improve the learning experiences of children in our school. Attached is the report from the validator who was very impressed with the ease and confidence that the children had when explaining how they use ICT in the school.
